He was the husband of Wanda Sue (West) Ellison, who survives.
Kenneth was born in Omaha on Feb. 3, 1942, the son of the late Herbert and Bernice (Taylor) Ellison.
He was a member of The Church of New Beginnings in Eldorado.
He was a welder at Babcock and Wilcox, Star Welding in Shawneetown and worked during the construction of Arclar Coal Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Allen Ray Ellison of Eldorado and Darren Lee (Megan Weatherly) Ellison of Carbondale; three brothers, Gene (Linda) Ellison of Norris City, Gary (Carolyn) Ellison of Eldorado and Donnie (Sandy) Ellison of Norris City.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, with the Rev. Toby Hise, the Rev. Michael Whobrey and the Rev. Robert Murray officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
